Shelton MIN ED LAND <br />Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Division RECLAMATION DIVISION <br />423 Centennial Building <br />1313 Sherman Street <br />Denver, Colorado 80203 <br />Subject: Permit Stipulation No. 4 Response Roadside and Cameo No. 1 Mines Permit <br />No. C-041-81 <br />Dear Mr. Shelton <br />As revised May 26, 1985, pursuant to the approval of the Cameo Refuse Disposal Area <br />Nos. 2 and 3 permit revision request, Powderhorn Coal Company is submitting the <br />referenced response proposing revegetation success criteria for woody plant density <br />and species diversity. <br />Powderhorn Coal Company has identified three distinctly different shrublands that <br />occur in the disturbed areas of the Roadside and Cameo No. 1 Mines. The shrublands <br />are more accurately described in Appendix SS, Baseline Vegetation Survey in the <br />permit application. <br />Shrub diversities and heights have been identified for each of the study areas in <br />the baseline vegetation survey.
