Their <br />response is attached. We are requesting any comments your office would have <br />on the proposal. <br />In short, Snowmass proposes to delay actually filing an augmentation plan <br />until after 1985 water data on depletions is collected. The monitoring system <br />at the mine is currently under construction and we agree that sufficient data <br />may not be available until the Summer of 1985. In the meantime they are <br />committing to pumping 17,000 gallons per day to replace any depletions. We <br />are currently reviewing our data to determine whether 17,000 gpd is an <br />appropriate amount. <br />Please review their proposal and forward any comments or recommendations. We <br />would appreciate a response by June 30, 1984.
