Box 488
Glenwood Springs, CO 31602
- Dear Mr. Tingley:
I am writing this letter in response to the copy of the letter you sent to the
Mined Land Reclamation office. Apparently you have misunderstood the direction
City Council gave staff. The City Council did not agree to accept the land
donation, but directed staff to review the proposal and report back to City Council.
I have attached a copy of the memo written by the Planning Department on the
subject for your review. I have no idea whether City Council will support the
request or not, but have raised some questions as to why the City Council would
desire the dedication of an apparently unusable parcel with very limited access.
As I suggested in the memo, when the owner of the adjoining lands to the east is
ready to annex perhaps an agreement for use of the property with additional lands
to the east could be developed.
If you have any questions in this matter, please feel free to call Ted Anderson
or myself at your earliest convenience.
Sincerely,
i r-f ~~~
Brent N.
