SANDOVAL GRAVEi, Pl'1' <br />SECTION V <br />RECLAMATION RECOMMENDATIONS <br />Top soil will be stockpiled on site for later use in developing a good seedbed. <br />The final grade work will be such as [o leave no slopes in excess of a 3:1 ratio, <br />Flatter if possible, in order to assure the development of a good seedbed and to <br />reduce the chances of water erosion on the area. <br />The seedbed should be established using at least 6 inches of surface material <br />(more if possible). The seedbed will be as clean and as firm as possible ,o allow <br />proper seeding. A grass drill equipped with depth bands and packer wheels will <br />be used. <br />Any livestock use will be deferred until such time as a stand of grass has been <br />established. <br />Cover Crop Recommendation: <br />A cover crop of oats will be planted the spring before seeding grass at a rate of <br />25-30#'s/acre. <br />Mulching Recommendation: <br />All disturbed areas that aze seeded will be mulched at a rate of no less than 2500 <br />#'s/acre with weed free native hay or straw.
