Long <br />Division Dneaor <br />RE: Chemical Stores at the Mil[, Leadville Mining and Milling, Pennit No. M-7990-057 <br />The reagent inventory provided by the operator with a letter dated October I, 2001 demonstrates that there <br />are no particularly problematic hazardous chemicals stored at the mill. Included in this memo are some <br />facts about the chemicals onsite gleaned from material safety data sheets. Also included are some <br />recommendations for continued storage. Protect <br />against physical damage. Isolate from incompatible substances. Containers of this material may be <br />hazardous when empty since they retain product residues (dust, solids); observe all warnings and <br />precautions listed for the product. <br />
