The operator
of 1:he mine was Rocky Connor. This was a 12 month option to purchase
the property and test mine the vein to evaluate the potential for
pure;hase.
Following the lease period, East-West requested additional time
to eivaluate the results. Negotiations continued and a verbal agreement
was reached but no agreement was signed. East-West could not raise the
monF•y for a down payment. After a frusterating summer,(1996) I became
aware that the purchase was not going to happen and I had my attorney
file "Termination of Agreement" against the company. They had by this
time abandoned the site,'-hnt according to the agreement they would have
120 days to remove their equipment. The 120 days was up on the 3rd of
March 1997•
According to the agreement, Rocky Connor will transfer the permits back
to me. I would like to ascertain that there are no outstanding violations
and that the permits are current and in good standing.
Since I spend the Winter months in Arizona for health reasons, I will
be at the address listed below until 1 May 1997•
'Would you please send me the necessary form to transfer the permits
into my name.
Thank you for your attention in
this matter.
Sic rely ,y urs
/ ~ `" 2u
Harry D. ovey
PO Box 07 ~
Kearny, AZ 85237-0207
