GOLD HILL VENTURES
IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII Longmonto•Colorado3 80501
999
January 2, 1985
Mr. Stephen O. Ellis
Zoning Administrator
Boulder County Planning Department
P.O. Box 471
Boulder, Colorado 80302
Dear Mr. Ellis:
~''ti :~ l5~•8 L'EPT.
Thank you for your letter of November 9, 1984, in response to
my request for confir-~ation from the Boulder County Planning
Department that our proposed mining and milling operation will
be in conformance with Boulder County's existing zoning
regulations.
I am enclosing two maps which show the location of the Amikay,
JoAnne, and Yacolo unpatented lode mining claims, and the
proposed location of our millsite near the Wynona and White
Cloud mines. These two maps were taken from our Cash mine
permit, and will be incorporated as exhibits in our next
permit application. Although the extreme western portions of
the Fitzsimmons and White Cloud lodes are within the
boundaries of the Gold Hill townsite and the Historic Zoning
District, we will not conduct any mining operations on those
portions of these two claims. All of our mining and milling
operations will be on property that is located within Boulder
County's Forestry Zoning District.
As we discussed cn the telephone today, I would like to
include your reply to my inquiry about the zoning of this
property in our next permit application. I hope that the two
enclosed maps, and my assurance that our mining operation will
not encroach upon the Gold Hill Historic Zoning District, will
enable you to provide us with written confirmation that our
proposed mining and milling operation will be in conformance
with the existing zoning regulations.
Your prompt attention to this matter will be appreciated.
Very truly yours,
`~~ c3~- ~: ~--
Mark A.
