These
samples were taken on top of the bench area, and within the riparian area
across Hubbard Creek to the northwest.
Of the two sample depths on the bench area, 44" and 23", neither provided the
4 foot minimum cover as required in the Blue Ribbon permit. Of the two
samples in the riparian area, no required depth is specified but I drilled
until I hit rock at 20" and 24". Coal fines were evident throughout the
depths.
TK/yjb
7620E
