During
1985, approximately 2132 round trips were made by haul trucks. Hauling
occurred from January to October. During days when hauling was occurring,
the average number of round trips per day was generally between 9 and 19 with
a maximum of 25. Monitoring consisted of reports from truck drivers and a
daily survey of the road. Only one vehicle deer collision was recorded
during this period and that did not result from a haul truck. No hauling is
currently being done on the county road and no further monitoring is planned.
If there are questions please contact me.
Sincerely,
r
Terrel~~hnso~ 6-v~
Environmental Specialist
TKJ/de
cc: Cathy Begej (CMLRD)
