Geology <br />As we discussed during our telephone conversation of September 26, 1994, a representative fn <br />Materials and Waste Management Division of the Colorado Department of Public Health and <br />Division) has spoken with Mr. Randy Coffman, owner and operator of Columbine Paving Ct <br />the site characterization and remediation of contaminated soils associated with Columbine Pav <br />plan[ located 6 miles east of Gunnison, Colorado, in W 1/2 SE 1/4, Section I1, Township <br />Gunnison County. The Division's letter of July 7, 1994 directed Mr. Coffman [o submit a sil <br />and remediation plan (the Plan) [o the Division within 45 days. Mr. Coffman notified the Di. <br />comply with the 45 day time frame. Mc Coffman's explanation for [he delay was due to [he to <br />associated with preparing the Plan. Mr. Coffman has hired a consultant [o complete the PI. <br />Unfortunately, 1 cannot attend the meeting in Gunnison scheduled for [he week of October <br />[he urgency to Mr. Coffman [o submit [he Plan in [he very near Future. The Division tak <br />seriously.
