Part of a letter <br />from the BLM, expressing their concerns relative to the sage grouse <br />strutting Brea, ie oleo enclosed. <br />I would appreciate any comments qou may have regarding meaeurea which <br />could be taken to mitigate the impact on the sage grouse, both during <br />and after mining. Since the ptopoaed future land use for this proper~~ <br />!e "rangeland and wildlife habitat," Flatiron Paving Co. ie required <br />to "consult with appropriate state and federal wildlife and land manages <br />meat agencies and select those (plant) species that will fulfill the <br />needs of wildlife, including food, water, cover, and apace. Plant <br />groupings and water resources shall be spaced and distributed to ful- <br />fill the requirements of wildlife."
