Russell: <br />I would like for you to send me a copy of the inspection <br />report in which tJewlin Creek's underground development waste <br />pile was discovered to be on fire. That would have occurred <br />prior to the time that Newlin Creek made arrangements to <br />transport the waste to our property. Aiso, I would like to <br />have a copy of the State's requirements for cooling the waste <br />before it was to be transported. <br />In your ing~ection report of Newlin Creek on November 19, 1982, <br />file number'C-045-81, the last paragraph under section III states <br />that the operator discussed the smoke vents near the Orphan Pit. <br />They have commetted to filling these holes as soon as possible. <br />Since 1 am not sure what commetted spells, I do not know what <br />Newlin Creek was to have done.
