Ossola - 2 - June 17, 1993 <br />With regard to your concern about coal dust blowing from uncovered haul trucks and <br />accumulating on the right-of-way of State Highway 12, and on homes and yards along <br />the highway, we have contacted both the Air Pollution Control Division and the <br />Colorado Department of Transportation. We hope to address jurisdictional <br />responsibilities soon, and resolve this problem by the end of this month as well. <br />With regard to your concern with spontaneous combustion of stockpiled coal, I have <br />contacted our Technical and Scientific Coordinator, Dr. James A. Pendleton, to <br />address this issue. We hope to provide you with a response by the end of this <br />month also. <br />Thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention.
