I have further
information on the following issues that were not resolved at the hearing:
COLORADO WEST LEASING CLAIMS
1. The attached tables summarize equipment rental hours expended and payments for
each of CWL's bills which included equipment rental. It appears that CWL was
overpaid $479.70 for bulldozer work and $132.22 for scraper work for a total
overpayment of $641.99. There was also a $315.00 underpayment for bulldozer work.
This results in a net overpayment for equipment rental of $326.99.
Further issues regarding CWL claim #1 which were brought up at the hearing include:
• CWL has not been paid for any equipment rental hours aRer 6/15/94.
Payments made on CWL's 7/24/94 bill were for equipment rental hours
expended after 6/15/94.
• 6/15 - 3 1/2 hours , $315 underpayment. As the tables show, there is a 3 1/2
hour underpayment for the time period 6/9/94 - 6/15/94. As mentioned above
however, DMG has overpaid CWL when all equipment rental is considered.
• 6/16 - 6 hours to be addressed. This six hours was spent on the East Pit West
Side topsoil pile, which was included in the original bid, and so was not paid.
