The
carcass was found Sunday, March 26 at approximately 7:30 a.m.
during a routine drive-around inspection of the area by the
mill foreman.
The deer walked out on the beach in the northwest corner of
the facility approximately 150 feet from the main emba:zkment.
Within the past week tailings had been deposited in this
area, and tailings were being deposited adjacent to the= area
where the deer was found. The tailings were soft with a dry
crust on the surface. The deer appears to have broken
through the dry crust on the surface and become stuck <>r
bogged down in the tailings.
Notification was made to Conrad Albert
Wildl~fo nn Marry 77 nor, n.l.harY wac
the carcass on the beach to be covered
The approved notification procedures w
Sincerely,
1~+iQnC1~ ~ ~~
Alana L.
