COTTER CORPORATION ENVIRONMENTAL DEPARTMENT <br />SEMI-ANNUAL REPORT TO THE GENERAL MINE MANAGER <br />AND THE INTERNAL AUDIT COMMITTEE <br />JULY THROUGH DECEMBER, 1993 <br />1~2I~TB4P~TI ON <br />The following report has been prepared to fulfill semi-annual <br />reporting requirements under License Condition 13.4.12.E of <br />Colorado Radioactive Materials License CO-:.'EiS-035, as <br />amended, for the period July through December 1993. This <br />semi-annual report is prepared under the auspices of they <br />licensed facilities' radiation Safety Officer after biannual <br />evaluation of employee exposures, effluent releases and <br />environmental data to determine - <br />(1) if there are any upwards trends developing in personnel <br />exposures for identifiable categories of workers, of types of <br />operations, or in effluent releases. <br />(2) if exposures and effluents might be lowered under tl~e <br />concept of maintaining exposures and effluents as low a~~ <br />reasonably achievable. <br />(3) if equipment for exposure and effluent control is being <br />properly used and maintained. <br />
