channel varies from 2 to 12 inches in diameter and the channel appears well armored. This
area does not show much change from the 1995 inventory, it appears to have improved slightly
with the depth almost identical and the side slopes decreasing in slope slightly.
Based on the data cdlected from these five cross section areas and a general survey of the area
this concentrated flow feature does not appear to be experiencing excessive erosion. For this
reason no mitigative measures are proposed for this concentrated flow feature at this time.
Subarea 1 Erosion Condition Classification
South of Shop Subarea 1 was evaluated using the methods described in BLM Technical Note No.
346. The erosion condition composite soil surface factor score for this site is 0, which places it
in the Stable erosion class. The tabulated results for this survey are contained in Table 11.
Subarea 2 Erosion Condition Classification
This area was also evaluated using the methods described in BLM Technical Note No. 346. The
erosion condition composite soil surface factor for this site is 5 which places it in the Stable
category. The tabulated results for this survey are listed in Table 12.
Subarea 3 Erosion Condition Classification
The procedure outlined In BLM Technical Note No. 346 was used to evaluate this area. The
erosion condition composite soil surface factor for this site is 0. Thts places this area in the
Stable category. The tabulated results for this survey are listed in Table 13.
Table 11: South of Shop Subarea 1 Erosion Condition Classification
13gm
Soil Movement
Surface Litter
Surtace Rock Fragmehts
Pedestalling
Flow Patterhs
Rills
Gullle5
Total
Score Total Possible Sco re 1995 Score

0 14 3
0 14 0
0 14 0
0 14 0
0 15 0
0 0 0
4 Q 4
0
71
4.2
Erosion Condition Classification Score: 0.0 -Stable
9
