Final Land Use: Rangeland and Wildlife Habitat. (9/84) <br />2. Disturbances Identified: East Pit, West Pit, Center Ridge, Stockpile .-fl, <br />Stockpile ~2, Refuse Dump and Spoil Piles, Orphan Pit, North Orphan Pit, Tipple <br />and Shop Areas, Prospecting Pit and Diversion Ditches, and Auger Mining Holes. <br />(9/84) <br />3. Affected Area: Approximately 120 acres. <3/92 review) <br />4. Plan: <br />A. All bore, drill and blast holes would be filled -~nith inert material. Any <br />holes exhibiting artesian flow would be cemented. Any holes converted to <br />water supply wells or ground water monitoring wells would be cased and <br />capped, and reclaimed after use. <9/84) <br />B. All structures would b;: removed. (9/84) <br />C. Coal dust at the Tipple/Shop Areas would be moved to the Refuse Dumo and <br />covered over with nearby spoils. (9/84) <br />D. Backfilling and grading to approximate original contour would occur at all <br />sites but the East Pit, West Pit, and Stockpile ;a`1. Auger mining holes <br />would be backfilled, and drainage patterns reestablished in all channels. <br />(9/84> <br />E. Replaced subsoils would be ripped. (9/84) <br />F. Topsoils would be replaced at all sites, with the exception of both the <br />Refuse Dump and the Tipple Area which had topsoil stripped pre-law. (9/84) <br />G. Riprap would be placed in major drainages. (9/84, 2/87, 8/89> <br />H. Replaced topsoils would be analyzed for fertilizer needs, and any required <br />amendments utilized.
