Tl•.is mine is owned by LKA International, and is currently optioned ro our <br />client, Golden Wonder Mining. <br />Since the date of the hearing on April 23, 1997, Golden Wonder's consultant, <br />Mr. Bill Collins has been actively working at the mine site (now accessable after the <br />snow melted). Mr. Collins has completed placing survey stations on the ground and <br />reports that all will be tied together by this weekend. He has also obtained aerial <br />photos e; the site. When Mr. Collins returns to his office early next week, he will <br />complete the mapping required for the EPP. This mapping should be completed by <br />July 15th Mr. Collins has also collected the samples necessary for the required ore <br />classifica?ion, and expects to have his report completed by July 15th. <br />In addition, Mr. Collins collected the required water samples and has sent <br />them to Evergreen Labratories for analysis. The lab expects to have this analysis <br />completed by July 3rd, and a written report completed by July 15. <br />As 1 explained on the phone, meeting the Board imposed deadline of June 30, <br />1997 will not be possible, although the necessary reports ate expected by July 15th, <br />with submittal to the State shortly thereafter. <br />
