19 September 2002
MEMORAND UM
From: Bruce & Bobbie Wilson, Wilson Farms
Richie & Linda Pyeatt, Pyeatt Family Farms
To: Carl Mount, Colorado Division of Minerals and Geology
Kate Pickford, Colorado Division of Minerals and Geology
Kevin Rein, Office of the State Engineer
Subj: September 19 Meeting at the DMG offices
RECEIVED
SEP 2 3 20Q2
Division of Minerals arr~ Geology
~pP
I noted several items for follow-up as a result of our meeting earlier today at the DMG
offices. I will address those through separate and specific correspondence to the
appropriate party. I simply wanted to express, on behalf of atl of us, our appreciation to
each of you for taking the time to meet and discuss the situation here with respect to the
nearby gravel mining operations and the potential for impacts to the hydrogeological
balance. You also clarified some of the divisions of responsibility between the DMG and
the Office of the State Engineer. That was also helpful to us.
We have commissioned Forrest Leaf of Leaf Engineering to perform a thorough analysis
of the potential hydrogeological influences of the Kuntz Resource Recovery and Land
Development Project. Forrest believes that it will take him up to two months to complete
the analysis. At that time, we will shaze the results. In the meantime, thank you again for
your time and assistance.
On behalf of the group,
Bruce'Rril o c-~
Wilson Farms
9268 WCR 28
Platteville, Colorado 80651
Permit#: ~-/~s~i~i-ooh Confidental?:
Class ~_.F~.r Type-Seq.:
. ~ '~. ~ ~ Ffom: /3n~io ri/i/.Son To:~Yltd/.z
Doc.
