A program called QuickView will be copied to the CD and must be installed on your computer in order to use a DrL#G imaging CD the <br />fast tune. Fu[ute use of this or other imaging CD's does not require a new installation of the software. <br />2. The CD or DVD that you purchase mt.,_ut be in the D: dr[ve. A DVD drive will read a CD ar DVD. <br />3. The CD will contain files with the .cif extension. There needs to be an image viewing application for.tif files on your computer that <br />will handle single and multi-page documents. On a Windows XP computer, the default viewing programs are called "Windows Picture <br />and Fax Viewer" or "Paint" and they de not work with QuickView. The Imaging Viewer that comes with pro- Witrdows XP computers <br />does work. DMG has determined Ihat a program called "IrfanView", which can be downloaded Crom hfanView.com, dots work with <br />QuickView. A [ter downloading °h-fanView'", it needs to be configured as your default .cif viewer DMG does not support or endorse this <br />software and the licensing and registratien are the user's responsibility. There ate tttany other programs tha[ work as well, stash as <br />"Imaging Preview" and "Imaging for Windows". <br />Instructions• <br />I. Insert the CD into your computer. <br />2. A Ilow Limo for the CD to install. <br />3. Eject the CD from the computer. <br />4. Reinsett the CD into the computer. <br />5. You are ready to view the Permit Files. <br />NOTE: A program called QuickView Autarun, which 7vns the QuickView <br />setup program, has also been copied to this CD. If the Autotun program <br />does NOT work, you will need to manually install the QuickView program. <br />lnstntctions for tnanualfy installing QuickView• are available upon request <br />with the CD or can be viewed at www,mininastate.co.us. <br />The Permi[ Fik document images can be viewed to the receptfoa area of the DMC oPffce or they can be purchased oa a CD or <br />DYD. The CD/DYD purchase cosT covers the time and labor of making the CD.
