A program called QuickView will be copied to the CD and must be installed on your computer in order to use a DMG imaging CD the <br />first time. Future use of this ar other imaging CD's does not require a new inamlladon of the sofiurere. <br />2. The CD or DVD that you purchase roes be in the D: drive. A DVD drive will read a CD or DVD. <br />3. The CD will contain files with the .tif extension. There needs to be an image viewing application for .Uf files on your computer that <br />will handle eingk and multi-page documems. On a Windows XP computer, the default viewing programs are called "Windows Picture <br />and Fax Viewer" or "Paint" and they do not work with QuickView. The Imaging Viewer that comes with pre-Windows XP computers <br />does work. DMG has determined that a program called "hfanView", which coo be downloaded from hfanView.com, does work with <br />QuickV iew. After downloading "ItfanView", it nceds to be configured as your default .Uf viewer. DMG does not support or endorse this <br />software and the licensing and regiauaaon are the user's rLSponstbility. There are many other programs that work u well, such as <br />"Lnaging Preview" and "Imaging for Windows". <br />InetrucUons• <br />1. Inset the CD into your computer. <br />2. Allow time for the CD to install. <br />3. Eject Uta CD from the computer. <br />4. Reinsert the CD into the computer. <br />5. You are ready to view the Permit Files. <br />NOTE: A program called QuickView Autonm, which mna the QuickView <br />setup progmm, has also been copied to this CD. If the Autoron program <br />does NOT work, you will need to manualy install the QuickView program. <br />insmtctione for manually installing QuickView are available upon request <br />with the CD or can be vkwed at www.minina.state.co.us. <br />The Permit File document images can be viewed in the receptloo area oP the DMG office or they can be parehased oo a CD or <br />DVD. Tho CD/DVD purchase coat coven the tlme and labor of making the CD.
