Hernandez Dry/Slono'v/I/'e~~~s`~Veo~u~r <br />Division of Minerals and Geology <br />1313 Sherman St. <br />Denver CO 802030 <br />Dear Mr. Hernandez: <br />We wish to document additional discrepancies between the enforcement of <br />Regulations of the Mined Land Reclamation Soard with regard to Harrison <br />Western and ourselves. <br />The access road to the Harrison Western area has been completely blocked <br />for approximately a year with sediment removed from the pond. There <br />were no ditches along the road. Erosion of the road has been excessive. <br />The perimeter of the Harrison Western area was marked only with rebar <br />but are not visible. <br />The central drainage through the Harrison Western area downcut into coal <br />waste. <br />Despite these three problems, Harrison Western was released from all <br />liabili.t_v. We doubt that cost estimates were made to correct the above <br />problems in the estimation of the $18,500 final release payment. <br />Sincerely, <br />G(/ <br />W.D.
