Barbe, Henry Dcr~~~..-.~.
.-«-~.~-~r'p~p-
From; Barbe, Henry FEB 2 32001
Sent: Friday, February 16, 2007 1:13 PM
To: 'Kaldenbach, Tom'
Subject: RE: MR-337
Division of Redamabon,
Mining antl Safety
Tom: Thanks for your hard work on this revision. MCC will agree to the reduction, but, please keep in
mind when I request the additional bond for RN-05, it will be for 14,000,000.00. This is so that we will have "float"
in the bond for additional projects. I think the bond at 14MM will cover the Annual Operating Plan for 2007 and
perhaps the Deer Creek Shaft Project. I also think that your bond estimate for the RPE Shaft will be similar to the
Deer Creek Shaft Project with exception to an Emergency Hoist (escapeway) required by MSHA at Deer Ck.
Anyway call me if you want to discuss and thanks again.
From: Kaldenbach, Tom [mailto:tom.kaldenbach@state.co.us]
Sent: Friday, February 16, 2007 12:47 PM
To: Barbe, Henry
Subject: MR-337
Henry,
I am ready to have MR-337 approved, but before I do, I would like to incorporate some additional changes to the
cost estimate. These additional changes, in addition to the ones in your original MR-337 application would result
in the cost estimate going down by $61,429 (see attached spreadsheet). I can explain the need for the additional
changes on the phone.
Tom
2/23/2007
