<br />'-. <br />r <br />NOTICE OF BLASTING SCHECULE <br />TO wHOn1 IT rnAY CONCERN; <br /> <br />In accordance with the regulations of the Colorado Mined Land <br />Reclamation Soard for Coal Mining, section c.03.~ Public Notice Of <br />Blasting Schedule, The Pittsburg and r.iidway Coal Mining Company <br />proposes the following blasting schedule at the Edna Mine, P.O. <br />Box 176, Oak Creek, Colorado 30467-0176. <br />The blasting site consists et acpreximately ?40 acres located <br />,^ F.outt County, State of Colorado and is more specifically described <br />as fellows: <br />Section 14 - StcSEu~ EiSWcSEc T4N R86'r! <br />Section Z3 - EiNE~ E~NW,=,h1Ea T4N R86W <br />Section 24 _ WzNW~ T4N R86W <br />Detonation of explosives will occur during the Iasi half hour <br />from 9:U0 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. during the period from February 15, 1985 <br />to February 14~ 198?. Blasting wil! not e:<ceed an aggregate cf feur <br />hours in any one day. Access to the blasting area is controlled by <br />appropriate signs and/or barricades and authorized perscnne!. The <br />preblasting audible warning signal consists of five short soundings <br />of an air horn. The all clear signal shall consist of one long <br />sounding of the horn. <br />Should an unavoidable hazardous situation arise, blasting may <br />occur at an unscheduled time. Events which could lead to blastino <br />at other than scheduled times include tut are not limited to rain, <br />lighting, other atmospheric conditions, and/or conditions which <br />involve personnel, operational or public saftsy.
