Today I spoke with Phil Schmidt (Mountain Coal Co.), at about 4:50
p.m. I advised that the permit boundary NOV request to vacate is
under review by the A.G.'s office, and we will notify MCC
immediately upon hearing an opinion.
We also discussed the Mautz cabin situation. I asked Phil if MCC
has received our letter regarding the subsidence rules as they
pertain to the cabin. He asked if I meant Christine's letter, and
I said yes. Z advised that MCC needs to ensure compliance with the
applicable rules. Phil verified that it is MCC's intent to do so.
