The worst case
scenario has been determined to be the end of the vear 1984. The
attached map shows the projected mine confinuation for that time.
Included are tables listing the amounts and locations of the
material to be replaced or moved. Production rates are based on
the Caterpillar Performance Handbook (Edition 14) with equipment
costs based on 1984 Rental Rate Blue book and quotes from !•!agner
Equipment Company.
This estimate for reclamation of the mine at year end 1984
totals $2,122,2EE. This estimate is slightly less than the bond
in the amount of 52,223,313 currently filed with the Mined Land
Reclamation Division. The amount of the current reclamation band
is adequate to reclaim the worst case scenario of the permit revision
application.
V•Je hope that this submittal has addressed the requirement of
stipulation PP, 2 to your satisfaction. Should you need additional
information, please let me know as soon as possible.
Sincerely,
;.
G' ~
Charles Schoenfelder
Acting Reclamation EnOineer
STIP.#~ ~pRZ)
