R.C.S. NOPAE INSPECTIONS
203 E M1411N S'
TRWIpAO, CO~ORACO 8'1082
Documentation Notice; ~ly.A
Properties located around ~v ~~
Lorincinto Coal Co. CCit x~ll•7158595231
along Highway 12 ~` Qe ~ Fax;719-845-047.1
~ Home: 719_846-0461
„.,
o~ tiNn"'
Location of Property; Approxa+~~P~°~ miles west of Trinidad, Co.
Mr. Floyd Drown 20199 Hwy 12
Weston, Co. 81091
This property os to the north and west of the Coal Co. and is
on the north side of Highway 12 across the street from the
Primero school.
This home was built in the mid 1920's, and is an adobe struc-
ture with about 18 inchs of wall surrounding khe whole house.
The roof is pro-panel and in good repair.
The south and west side areas have the most structural damage
probabely started by the age of the home, but the owners state
that the cracks in the last 2 months have really started to
open up and shift, especially on the front porch columns at the
south side of the house.
The cracks on the south west corner of the house are new as far
as a wider gap in the cracks, along the foundation and up by the
windows as well.
These cracks on the south and west walls have started to crack
on the inside of the house as well, in the same areas as on the
outside of the house, the south and west walls ,
These areas have been noticed by the owners in the last two
months.
The foundation is mostly concrete but could not get access into
the crawlspace because there is none according to the owner.
The ii3terior walls are all textured, which makes it fairly
easy to spot cracks on the walls, as well as the exterior walls
since it is all stucco. There was no damage to the windows
around the entire house.
There is some minor cracks on the east side entry and porch
but do not appear to be from anything but ageing.
The biggest concern is the porch columns on the south side
entry way and the southwest corner of the house, these cracks
look to be the freshest and are widening. The porch columns
on the west side of the porch have shifted off of its center
by a good inch.
The owners are easy to work with and seem to understand that
this will happen when blasting is done, they have stated that
their house does shake when ever the blasting goes off.
Pg. 1 of 2
