Shelton <br />Director <br />June 15, 1982 <br />Ms. Paige Beville <br />ARCO Coal Company/Anaconda Minerals <br />555 Seventeenth Street <br />Denver, Colorado 80202 <br />Dear Ms. Beville: <br />This letter is intended to inform Anaconda Minerals Company (ARCO Coal Company) <br />of those stipulated conditions attached to the Mt. Gunnison Mine permit <br />approval package which have been satisfactorily addressed. In order to avoid <br />confusion regarding which stipulations have been satisfied a cross-reference <br />is enclosed in which both the Office of Surface Mining and the Colorado Mined <br />Land Reclamation Division numerical indices are given as well as the complete <br />wording of the stipulations as they appear in the permit approval package. <br />Those stipulations, as given in the cross-reference, which the Division <br />considers to be satisfied are: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 13, 14, <br />14, 17, 18, 19, 23, 29, 30, 31, 32, 34, 35, 37, 38, 42 and 43. <br />Those stipulated conditions whidh require continuous effort for complete <br />satisfaction, i. e. monitoring, which have been adequately addressed by Anaconda <br />Minerals Company are not included in the above list as they require the <br />continuing dilegence of both Anaconda Minerals and the Division and cannot be <br />considered satisfied until the specified term of monitoring has passed. <br />Please feel free to call either Ed Bischoff or myself if you have any questions. <br />Sincerely, <br />i <br />~~.4/////~ /p ~yGC-fL~c ~~ <br />Richard oD mingue (/ ' <br />Reclamation Specialist <br />RD:ys <br />cc: Ed Bischoff <br />Office of Surface Mining <br />Floyd Sohnson <br />
