If it becomes necessary for Powderhorn Coal Company to cover the Cameo Refuse Disposal Area No. 2 (CRDA No. 2) with four feet of material, approximately 175,000 cubic yards would be required. The additional fill would come from areas that are located at and adjacent to Cameo Refuse Disposal Area No. 3 (CRDA No. 3). Referring to Exhibit 52 of the permit document, and table I> it is estimated that an additional 88,000 cubic yards of material can be obtained during the initial preparation of CRDA No. 3. An area adjacent and east of CRDA No. 3 will yield an estimated 84,000 cubic yards. The total combined amount of non-toxic, non-combustible fill would be 172,000 cubic yards from these two sources. Powderhorn Coal Company has stockpiled approximately 18,000 cubic yards of material from the intial preparation of CRDA No. 2. The amount of estimated and actual quantities available would equal 190,000 cubic yards of material. Because the areas are in close proximity to CRDA No. 2 no additional bonding shall be necessary.
