We believe that the existing <br />high walls may be unstable, and we are sure that the open auger holes <br />are unsafe. <br />We would like for reclamation to continue uninterrupted to return the <br />area to a safe condition. <br />We would also suggest that Dorchester Coal Company be permitted to <br />fill the existing pits with refuse material, protecting the exposed <br />coal seams to avoid future coal fires. <br />Sincerely, <br />LAC ~ ~ I.~~... ,.,(~ <br />i <br />W.
