I am forwarding a copy of the letter I had written to Mr. Ossola confirming our
discussion during that meeting.
As we discussed today, the Division will extend the due date for submittal of Updated Map
12, as required by Stipulation No. 15 to June 30. This extension is granted due to problems
Energy Fuels has encountered with flight delays as a result of poor weather conditions.
The Division strongly reminds Energy Fuels of the need to protect the soil resource on the
reclaimed site through timely seeding and mulching in accordance with the reclamation plan.
The Division agrees that Energy Fuels use of a cover or companion crop planted at this
time would be beneficial to control potential erosion on the site.
Please contact me if you have additional questions.
Sincerely,
J net .
