This report had been requested
by the Division as a result of the April 29, 1998 field inspection. During that inspection, it had
been observed that water had leaked from the septic line upgradient of the pile and had
accumulated onto the northwest addition of the waste pile. The Division requested that an
engineer examine the pile in order to determine whether or not damage had occurred.
The May 22, 1998 consultant's report concludes that there has not been any damage to the
northwest addition to the West Ridge Waste Pile from the sewage water. The Division, therefore,
has no further concerns as to this issue. The Division appreciates the assistance of Bowie
Resources and its consultant in resolving this matter.
If you have any questions, please call me.
Sincerely,
se J.~Dudash
nvironmental Protection Specialist
cc: Jim Stover P.E.
