'~7 s <br /> <br />C3--60 to 74 inches; pink (7.5YR 7/4) loam, light brown (7.SYR <br />6/4) moist; massive; hard, friable; 17 percent calcium carbonate <br />equivalent; calcium carbonate disseminated throughout; slightly sticky <br />and slightly plastic; strongly effervescent; moderately alkaline. <br />The solum is 20 to 32 inches. Calcium carbonate is at a depth of <br />12 to 19 inches. <br />A horizon: Hue is SVR or 7.SYR. <br />B horizons: Texture is loam, clay loam, or sandy clay loam. <br />Clay content is 20 to 34 percent. Hue is 2.5 YR to 7.SYR. <br />C horizons: Texture +s loam or sandy clay loam. Hue is 2.SYR to <br />7.SYR. The calcium carbonate equivalent is 15 to 45 percent, and <br />decreases with depth. <br />Soil was characterized under NSSL ID Sample Nos.
