A program called QuickView will be copied to the CD and moat be installed on your computer in order to use a DMG imaging CD the first time. Future use of this or other imaging CD's does not retprhe a new installation of the sottwaro. 2. The CD or DVD that you purchase be is the D: drlva A DVD drive will read a CD or DVD. 3. Tho CD will contain 51ea with the .tif extension. Thera needs to be an image viewing application for .tif files on your computer that will handle single and multrpage documents. On a Windows XP computer, the default viewing programs aro called "Windows Picture and Fax Viewta" or "Paint" and they do not work witlt QuickView. The Imaging Views that comes withpre-Windows XP cotaputers does work. DMG has determined that a progrem called'7rfanView", which can be downloaded from IrfanView.com, does work with QuickView. After downloading "IrfanView", it needs to be configured as your default .tif views. DMG does not support or endorse this software and the licensing and registration are the user's responsibility. There era many other progams that work as well, such as "Imaging Preview" and "Imaging for Windows". Inatrnctlona• 1. Insert the CD into your computes 2. Allow time for the CD to install. 3. Eject the CD from the computer. 4. Reinsert the CD into the computer. $. You are ready to view the Permit Files. NOTE: A program called QuickView Autorun, which runs the QuickView setup program, has also been copied to this CD.
