In addition,
fill material will be placed along the existing cut to increase to
slope of the conveyor. No new areas will be disturbed for this
project and the additional fill is consistent with the reclamation
plan as it relates to achieving AOC for the existing cut slope. For
all intents and purposes this fill material will reduce the bonding
liabilities for this portion of the mine.
Based on the above facts, WFC did not feel that a project of
this small scale which has no affect on the existing permit would
require a Minor Revision. However, in the spirit of cooperation,
we did want to inform your office of the activities by way of this
letter.
If you have any questions on this matter, please feel free to
contact me.
inc~rg,ry,
SYuar~ Francone
Environmental Coordinator
