Fremont County <br />1 have been worY.ino on reveoetation plans far the Dolomite Quarry <br />in Canon Citv. As you Y.now we are planning to stabilize some of <br />the road cuts along the haulroad below the areas that are minable <br />in the future. <br />In loaY.ino at the seed mixture as specified in the permit. I <br />beo_an to loot. more closely at the Reclamation Study done by Dr. <br />Ed Redente. The study was completed after the permit application <br />was submitted. In Dr. Redente's study the test reveoetation <br />plots were seeded as specified in the Permit Application and <br />other tests were conducted to evaluate species survival. The <br />species with the oreatest survival rates were not entirely the <br />same as those specified in the Permit. <br />CFkI wishes to change the seed mixture to <br />with the oreatest survival rates in order <br />of successful reclamation. A copy of Dr. <br />deals with species survival is enclosed. <br />mixture is also enclosed. Seeding rates <br />Native Plants. Inc. in their 1986 Seed <br />mixture seems fairly well diversified <br />results. <br />include those species <br />to improve the chances <br />Redente's report that <br />The proposed new seed <br />are those suggested by <br />Catalogue.
