Photograph number 4 demonstrates <br />the clean up of the culvert and restoration of the original drainage <br />located approximately half way up the haulroad tsnard the portals <br />from the storage pad. 'Ihe blue stand pipes that you see in the photo- <br />graphs are steel and have been driven approximately 8 feet into the <br />ground in an effort to prevent trucks frrsn rolling over the culverts <br />and collapsing them. <br />In response to a request from Jerry McPhee, I am letting you knaa that <br />he is in the process of obtaining information on the water rights at <br />our Wilson ioac~ut. <br />In closing, I just want to say that I believe that the Office of Surma <br />face Mining, Division of Inspection & Enforcement has inducted recent <br />inspections in an objective manner that we at Northern Coal Canp3ny <br />certainly appreciate. <br />Sincerely, <br />NOFlO/JAL COMPANY <br />Gy/~~ W <br />'I~rry W.
