Photograph number 4 demonstrates the clean up of the culvert and restoration of the original drainage located approximately half way up the haulroad tsnard the portals from the storage pad. 'Ihe blue stand pipes that you see in the photo- graphs are steel and have been driven approximately 8 feet into the ground in an effort to prevent trucks frrsn rolling over the culverts and collapsing them. In response to a request from Jerry McPhee, I am letting you knaa that he is in the process of obtaining information on the water rights at our Wilson ioac~ut. In closing, I just want to say that I believe that the Office of Surma face Mining, Division of Inspection & Enforcement has inducted recent inspections in an objective manner that we at Northern Coal Canp3ny certainly appreciate.
