Cattany <br />Division Director <br /> Natural Resource Trustee <br />RE: Keenesburg Strip Mine, Permit No. C-1981-028 <br />Dear Mr. MacDonald, <br />The Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining, and Safety is in the process of rectifying discrepancies <br />between the reported disturbed acreage in the Annual Reclamation Reports and the disturbed acreage <br />listed in the permit. <br />The Keenesburg Mine 2006 Annual Reclamation Report lists the total disturbed acreage as 455.8, with <br />the disturbed acreage in the permit listed as 439 acres. Please review these acreage totals and if the <br />acreage listed within the permit has changed to the total disturbed acreage reported in the 2006 Annual <br />Reclamation Report, please submit a Minor Revision to reflect the Keenesburg Mine Permit No. C- <br />1981-028 as follows: <br />1. Application section page 3 to reflect the correct permitted, actual, and proposed acreages <br />of disturbed area. <br />2.
