Referring to Janet Binn's May 19, 1998 memo, I asked about the <br />transect length they were planning to use. He was unawaze of the permit that states they will use <br />a 100 foot transect. <br />Greystone does not want to use a 100 foot transect, they prefer to work in metric. Therefore, we <br />agreed that they will use a 25 meter transect, with two points one meter apart at ]meter intervals. <br />For each transect there will be 50 points. Production will be collected in .5 m'- plots instead of <br />the .25 mZ plots they committed to in the permit. <br />Greystone will submit a minor revision to the permit to make the changes discussed above. The <br />concern regazding the overlapping transects in the reference azea, also mentioned in Janet's <br />memo, has already been resolved. Greystone submitted another map on May 20. <br />
