Lake: <br />[de are enclosing with this letter a copy of the letter signed by the Assistant <br />Secretary for Energy and itinerals on December 29, 1981, approving with stipu- <br />lations the Seneca II :fining and Reclamation Plan. Prior to issuance of the <br />permit, a bond must be received by the Colorado Mined Lands Reclamation Divi- <br />sion and the Office of Surface Mining in the amount of $2,636,800.00. In ad- <br />dition, it will be necessary for an authorized representative of Seneca Coals, <br />Ltd. to accept the Department's attached stipulations in writing by signing <br />page 5 of the attached permit. (Page five has been Forwarded in duplicate so <br />that an original signature can be returned to this office.) <br />In accordance with 30 CFR 781.11 Seneca Coals, Ltd. has 30 days from receipt <br />of this letter to zppeal the Department's decision on the application.
