Upon receipt of this letter, yourself or Mr. Whitfield shall
contact this office to acknowledge receipt of this letter, relay
actions taken by Telluride Gravel to bring this situation into
compliance, and clarify any questions you may have. Should we
discover no action was taken or additional work within waters or
the United States has occurred, we will interpret such to be
knowing and flagrant violations of the Clean Water Act.
We anticipate an after-the-fact permit application for
Telluride Gravel addressing all work within waterways to date and
any proposed by April 30, 1993. This should include the reach of
river above the Ilium Valley Road bridge. If you have any
questions, I urge you to contact Ms. Nall at (303) 243-1199.
Sincerely,
Enclosure
Grady L.
