Bruce Humphries <br />Minerals Program Supervisor <br />Division of Minerals and Geology <br />Department of Natural Resources <br />1313 Sherman Street, Room 215 <br />Denver, CO 80203 <br />Dear Mr. Humphries: <br /> <br />JUL ~ 7 2006 / <br />Division of Minerals and Deolo9Y <br />International Uranium (USA) Corporation (the "Operator") hereby provides Notice of Intent to the <br />Colorado Division of Natural Resources, Division of Minerals & Geology of our intent to resume <br />uranium and vanadium mining operations at the following mines in San Miguel County, <br />Colorado: <br />• Sunday Mine, Permit M-1977-285 ~~ <br />• Carnation Mine, Permit M-1977-416 ^~ <br />• St. Jude Mine, Permit M-1978-039 HR~ <br />• West Sunday Mine, Permit M-1981-021 r <br />• Topaz Mine, Permit, M-1980-055T <br />All of these mines have been on temporary cessation status since April 1999. Change from <br />temporary cessation status is requested effective immediately, contingent upon the Operator <br />updating reclamation bond amounts in accordance with the periodic bond reviews presently in <br />progress. <br />As discussed with Mr. Bob Oswald of the Durango Field Office of the Division of Minerals and <br />Geology, the Operator will not create any new disturbance areas, affect the Disturbed Area <br />boundaries, or construct or install any permanent facilities or structures which might affect the <br />amount of the final reclamation bonds for each Permit until the current bond amounts are <br />reviewed and adjusted accordingly, if necessary. <br />If site visits to any of the mines are required, please contact Jim Fisher at (970) 677-2702 or <br />Terry Wetz at (303) 389-4161 to arrange the visits. <br />Tel: 303 628 7798 1050 Seventeenth St., Suite 950 info~intluranium.com <br />Fax: 303 389 4125 Denver, Colorado, USA 80265 www.intluranium.com <br />
