Specifications and <br />installation will be based on envirottmental conditions under which they are expected to <br />perform. <br />• Consideration of the range of climatic site conditions that occur throughout the yeaz will be <br />made. Specifications and installation will be based on climatic conditions under which they <br />are expected to perform. <br />The practice of routinely prescribing controls for erosion and sedimentation problems will be <br />avoided. Each situation will be treated creatively to minimise the cost of construction and <br />treatment, while striving to max;m;~e their effectiveness. <br />3.3.2 BMP Specifications . <br />The Plan groups BMPs into general categories based on their respective erosion and sediment <br />control applications. The fundamental groups are Concentrated Flow Structures (Appendix B), <br />Surface Treatments and Slope Protection (Appendix C), Water Treatmea (Appendix D), and <br />Biotechnical Stabilization Measures (Appendix E).
