Attached to the permit were several <br />stipulations requiring responses by Salt Creek. The enclosed <br />responses should satisfy the stipulations which were to be <br />answered within 60 days of permit approval. The stipulations and <br />responses are outlined below. <br />-~ Stipulation 5 - Required that Salt Creek provide soil <br />analysis on the mine bench area to determine if special <br />handling of the surface layer would be necessary. The soil <br />samples taken by Salt Creek are shown on page 9-64a and <br />indicate that no special handling of the surface layer is <br />necessary. <br />;; Stipulation 7 - Required Salt Creek to use the combined <br />premising productivity data from both mines for the <br />Greasewood Shrubland, Shedscale Shrubland and the Juniper <br />Woodland for the determination of revegetation success <br />standard. A statement to that effect has been provided in <br />Section 3.4.9 <br />Stipulation 8 = Salt Creek was required to use the woody <br />plant density revegetation standard proposed by CMLR. The <br />sugested.standard has been adopted as shown on pages 3-13 and <br />3-19. <br />Stipulation-9 - Salt Creek was required to and has <br />incorporated, on page 3-16, the suggested species diversity <br />standard. <br />Stipulation 10 - The annual revegetation monitoring <br />program proposed For the Munger Canyon Mine has been adopted <br />for the McClane Canyon Mine and is contained on pages 3-15 <br />and 3-16. <br />
