Coal Mine IJo. 2
Required documents at
mine site.
Thanks for your recent telephone call, and the reminder about
the requirements for keeping certain documents at the mine site.
As a result of your advice, Robert Weaver has gathered up again
certain documents and he plans to return them to the site.
They are as follows:
1. Copy of the original application for reclamation permit
submitted to MLRB.
2. Copy of the request by Henry L Weaver and Opal Weaver,.
that MLRB approve of the transfer of their permit to Sylvia
McCormick, and copy of the state's approval of that transfer.
3. Water monitoring records for calendar 1983. Those
for tests conducted in 1984 have been submitted to Western
State College for analysis, and the reports of those analyses
have not been made as yet.
4. Copy of the federal coal lease underlying the mine, in
consolidated form,
5. Copy of the :VPDES permit issued by the Colorado
Department of Health.
I also passed along to Sob Weaver your expressed concerns about
the necessity for having an engineer's certification that the
sediment pond is 100 per cent complete and constructed to
specifications.
S incere_ly
(v~ ~~Z>: ~ /i
C.
