RECEIVED
JUN 2 0 1997
Division or iwmerais C Neology
Mr. Bruce Humphries
Mined Land Reclamation Division
1313 Sherman St.
Denuer,CO SB2B3-2273
• ~II ~I~~I~~I~~~~~ ~I~
999
P. 0. Box 113
Uictor, CO 80860
June 18, 1997
Dear Mr. Humphries:
We learned from the Uictor City government that our mayor will be
meeting with Mined Land Reclamation in the next week to complain
about blasting at the CCF~U mine. He claims that the buildings in Uictor
are being damaged by the blasts. We have felt the blasts on a few
occasions at our property on South 3rd St., but they are certainly not
severe enough to do any damage to our house. June Bradley, who
owns the Monarch Building in the center of town, says that if
anything damaged her building, it was the two sharp earthquakes
which occurred I believe this past January. I am losing patience with
our mayor who glues the impression that he speaks for all the
residents while he actually is gluing his personal opinion.
Sincerely,
Cherry Hunter
