He stated he did not want to continue
with the complaint, as MSHA told the operator where the
complainant lived and now he has experienced some negative
repercussions from hia landlord and from Terror Creek. I asked
if it was coal duet or dirt. He said coal dust and I asked him
if it was off the train cars or from the pad. He said he was not
sure. Mr. Rundle lives immediately below the railroad tracks. I
told him I would take his complaint into consideration when doing
my inspections. I mentioned that I am only on site once a month
and have not noticed any problems, but that I would keep an eye
out. I said Terror Creek is required by the Air Pollution
Control Division to have dust suppression measures installed at
the Loadout. I told Mr. Rundle that I would check to make sure
these measures are installed and functioning properly.
I told Mr. Rundle that if he had any other problems or the dust
continued, to call me back.
cc: David Berry
m:\oss\acm\terck.mmo
