Attached <br />to the permit were several stipulations requiring responses by <br />Salt Creek. The enclosed responses should satisfy the <br />stipulations which were to be answered within 60 days of permit <br />approval. The stipulations and responses are outlined below. <br />Stipulation 2 -Salt Creek was required to add a dewatering <br />device to the design of the sedimentation pond at the refuse <br />disposal site; as well as, commit to installing clean-out <br />markers at all sediment ponds. A dewatering device has been <br />added to the design of the refuse area sedimentation pond <br />(Page 2-32). Salt Creek previously committed to installing <br />clean-out markers at both the mine site and the waste rock <br />disposal area (See Pages 2-44 and 2-44A of the original <br />permit application). Commitments to install clean-out <br />markers at the four ponds covered in this permit are <br />contained on Pages 2-15 and 2-32 as well as in Appendix A on <br />Pages Asa-7, Asb-7, Asc-7, and Asd-6. <br />Stipulation 4 - Required that Salt Creek commit to an <br />additional year of baseline groundwater monitoring. Page <br />9-14 contains the commitment. <br />Stipulation 8 - Directed Salt Creek to incorporate the <br />McClave Canyon moisture retention plan into this permit. The <br />incorporation of this plan is contained in Sections 3.2.2 <br />through 3.3.9. <br />Stipulation 9 - Salt Creek has committed to using the <br />Division's suggested woody plant density standard in Sections <br />3.3.6 and 3.3.9. <br />
