We1120-4A has been removed from the water quality monitoring <br />program for both the temporary suspension and commercial mining production operating modes. <br />The well was originally drilled as a B Groove monitoring point but did not produce sufficient <br />water. It was cemented and the casing was perforated at the A Groove; however, even during the <br />baseline period, the data indicated evidence of localized cement contamination in the perforated <br />zone which causes interference and makes water quality data from this point difficult to evaluate <br />in relation to the mining activity. Although water quality data is not relevant from this point, <br />water level data will continue to be collected from we1120-4A. <br />A map of the layout of the ground water monitoring wells is provided in Figure 1 below. <br />Draft Modification No. 9 LTIC Area Permit No. C030858-00000 Page 23 of 44 <br />
